About Me

I am Andrew Hinton, a biologist and musician based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. I recently graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2022 with my BS in Biology (general) and my BA in Music (general). This portfolio features samples of my academic work as well as examples of my involvement with the biology and music departments of Western Kentucky University, ranging from education focused internships to leadership positions.

My interests include plant taxonomy, environmental health, and music pedagogy. I am passionate about leadership in all aspects of life including in the classroom. I look forward to applying my degrees in biology and music in and out of academic settings as I pursue a MA in Brass Pedagogy all while attaining a career in the biological sciences.
